Platoon
Young recruit Chris Taylor arrives in Vietnam expecting to fight the Viet Cong, but the reality of combat quickly challenges his ideas about war. Serving in a platoon led by Sergeants Elias Grodin and Robert “Bob” Barnes, he witnesses how differently the two men respond to violence and the treatment of civilians. As the unit faces deadly missions, Taylor must decide what he is willing to accept from the people fighting beside him.
