Once Upon a Time in Mexico
In Mexico, CIA agent Jeffrey Sands recruits the hitman El Mariachi for a politically sensitive assassination. His target is a Mexican general working for a drug kingpin who is preparing a coup against the country’s president. Sands has his own reasons for staying out of the operation, so El Mariachi must carry out the assignment while political corruption and shifting loyalties complicate the mission.
