House of Flying Daggers

In 9th-century China, the Tang government is struggling to suppress the Flying Daggers, a rebel organization challenging its rule. Jin, a government warrior, is ordered to locate the group’s hidden base and begins by freeing Xiao Mei, a blind dancer suspected of belonging to it. He leads her on a dangerous journey so she can return to the rebels, but as they travel together, Jin starts to fall in love with her. What appears to be a straightforward mission soon becomes difficult to separate from personal feelings and hidden intentions.
