Hannibal Rising
During World War II, young Hannibal Lecter witnesses horrific acts by starving soldiers while living in Lithuania. Years later, in France, he studies medicine and begins pursuing revenge, while the experiences of his childhood shape his growing taste for murder. As Hannibal moves closer to the people connected with his past, Inspector Popil takes an interest in the young man and his violent actions.
