Don't Be Afraid of the Dark
Young Sally Hirst moves to Rhode Island to stay with her father, Alex, and his girlfriend, Kim, while they restore an old mansion. Exploring the house, she discovers a sealed basement linked to the mysterious disappearance of its architect more than a century earlier. When Sally accidentally releases the creatures hidden beneath the floor, they begin trying to claim her, but Alex and Kim initially believe the danger exists only in her imagination.
