Dark City

John Murdoch wakes in a strange city with no memory of his past, including the identity of the woman who may be his wife. As the city’s residents fall asleep each night, mysterious beings reshape their lives and use the darkness for an experiment designed to reveal what makes people human. Murdoch appears to be the only person unaffected by their control, so Inspector Frank Bumstead investigates the killings linked to him while the beings try to find him.
