Dante's Peak
Volcanologist Harry Dalton arrives in the small town of Dante’s Peak to study unusual activity beneath the nearby volcano. His findings point to an eruption, but the warnings are not taken seriously at first. When the mountain begins to erupt, Harry joins mayor Rachel Wando in trying to evacuate the town and rescue her children as lava, ash and other hazards cut off escape routes.
