Crooked House
Private investigator Charles Hayward returns to an aristocratic family estate when Sophia de Haviland asks him to investigate the death of her wealthy grandfather. The patriarch has been poisoned shortly before Sophia’s wedding, turning the case into a murder inquiry. As Charles questions the eccentric members of the family, he finds that each of them had a possible motive and that the killer may still be inside the sprawling house.
