Bird Box

Five years after an unseen presence drives most of society to suicide, Malorie Hayes is raising two children in a world where looking outside can be fatal. To keep them alive, she makes them cover their eyes whenever they leave the house and begins a dangerous journey toward a place that may offer safety. Their route takes them onto a river, where Malorie must guide the children through the post-apocalyptic landscape without allowing any of them to see what is ahead.
