Bicentennial Man
Richard Martin brings home an NDR-114 android as a household appliance, and his youngest daughter gives the robot the name Andrew. Designed for chores, Andrew gradually develops emotions and a talent for creative work, making it clear that he is unlike an ordinary machine. As he learns more about people and his own abilities, Andrew begins seeking freedom and pursuing the possibility of becoming an ordinary man, forcing the Martin family to reconsider what he truly is.
