Beautiful Boy

Journalist David Sheff is trying to support his teenage son, Nic, after the boy’s drug use develops into a serious methamphetamine addiction. Nic’s parents are separated, and David struggles to understand how the thoughtful, high-achieving child he remembers reached this point. As Nic moves through drug rehabilitation, his father searches for ways to help him while confronting the limits of what a family can do against addiction.
