Delphine, a novelist whose autobiographical book has become a bestseller, is worn down by book signings and the demands of readers who see her family story as a betrayal. With no clear idea for her next book, she is trapped in a creative crisis and struggling to write again. Then she meets Elle, a young woman who is intelligent, perceptive and unusually familiar with Delphine’s thoughts, offering help at a moment when the novelist is especially vulnerable.
