Asteroid City
In 1955, war photographer Augie Steenbeck takes his son to Asteroid City, a remote desert town hosting a Junior Stargazer convention. The gathering brings together young contestants, their parents and a few officials, including General Gibson and scientist Dr. Hickenlooper. After an extraordinary encounter connected with the nearby asteroid, the town is placed under quarantine, leaving Augie and the other visitors to deal with an unexpected crisis far from home.
