An American Pickle
Herschel Greenbaum, an immigrant working at a pickle factory, is accidentally sealed inside a barrel and preserved for a century. He wakes up in present-day Brooklyn, where the world he knew has disappeared and his only surviving relative is Ben, a computer coder. Hoping to reconnect with his family, Herschel tries to build a relationship with his great-grandson, but their different lives and outlooks make communication difficult.
