At his new Seattle high school, Cameron James falls for Bianca Stratford, but her strict father will not let Bianca date until her older sister Katarina does the same. Since Kat has a sharp temper and little interest in school romance, Cameron looks for someone willing to take her out. He turns to Patrick Verona, a rebellious student with a bad reputation, and offers him a deal that could clear the way for Cameron and Bianca—if Patrick can persuade Kat to give him a chance.
