The Tale of Despereaux
In the kingdom of Dor, Despereaux is a mouse whose unusually large ears match his unusually bold ambitions: he wants to become a knight. His dreams are not accepted by the other mice, and he is banished from home for pursuing them. While exploring the world beyond it, Despereaux befriends the good-hearted rat Roscuro and becomes involved in a quest to rescue Princess Pea, whose peril threatens the entire kingdom.
