Isle of Dogs
In a future Japanese city, an outbreak of canine flu prompts the mayor to send every dog—stray and domestic alike—to an island that serves as a garbage dump. When 12-year-old Atari Kobayashi’s beloved pet is exiled there, he flies to the island to search for him. Atari soon finds himself relying on a group of dogs who are also trying to survive their forced separation from the city and uncover what lies behind the banishment.
